Geographic Specification
At the end-of-old Korea era (from the late Chosun dynasty to Korean empire) it was a critical point for west coast defense along with Gang Wha Island to hinder Japanese invasion and historical point for Wha Do Encampment where Korea-America Amity Commerce treaty was concluded in 1882 and as a birth place of port of Dong Gu, Incheon is the place with advanced industry due to its close location to west sea.
